Creating a good image for London Rugby.
We arrived on White Hart Lane expecting the Skolars to face a similar result to there city counter parts on Friday night. But ourselves and the majority of the crowd (consisting mainly of Broncos and Halifax supporters) were left shocked at what we had witnessed. Skolars defended magnificently as they lead the majority of the game. They knew how to tackle. They kept it simple. They were winning for the majority of the game. Unfortunately, after the score being 12-10 on 79 minutes. The famous old name in Rugby league managed to sneak an undeserved win against a surprisingly good Skolars team. Everyone agreed it was harsh and undeserved. But for Halifax it must of been such a relief.
The ground is an athletics stadium on White Hart lane not far from the Famous home to spurs. I has an elevated Grandstand that has a capacity of 1000, and supposedly room for 4,000 to stand. Slightly optimistic I must say. Underneath the stand is a large refreshment area. One of the highlights are the dugouts. At one point when the Skolars team stood up they blew over. Despite they running track you feel very close to the action and I'm sure when the weather is nice it is a decent place to watch RL. If they put windscreens on the side of the stand it would be for Rugby, but it was cold and wet so it wasn't.
